This was a piece I made for the Center for Visual Arts (CVA for short). The CVA wanted us to take their original logo and stylize it for their 100 X 100 annual fundraising event. This event was where 100 artists had one piece each that they sold for $100 each. I was aiming to target people who are already aware of the CVA, and also people who may be interested in art/fundraising events. For my logo, I wanted to try to keep the same color palette while continuing to incorporate their logo into the finished product. I ended up with a lot of different strong logos, but there were two that stood out from the rest. I designed merchandise and posters for both of them, and ultimately decided that the logo with the X in the middle was the better overall concept, and pushed that one. I am very proud of this project and the work that came out of it. This project taught me how to develop multiple concepts while also being able to pick what is and isn't working.
